Up through this time, terms began with the Annual Meeting at which Presidents were elected (November or, for a short time, in October)
and ran through to the next Annual Meeting, so the term would overlap years. The Council adopted Bylaws changes in 2014 that, beginning as of Jan. 1, 2015, terms would run from January 1 through December 31.
