These centers are nationally designated hospitals shown to deliver quality specialty care based on objective, transparent measures for patient safety and health outcomes that were developed with input from the medical community.

The HELEN F. GRAHAM CANCER CENTER & RESEARCH INSTITUTE was recognized for being among the top 25 Alliance for Clinical
Trials in Oncology sites for enrolling patients into clinical trials. Christiana Care has a patient participation rate in clinical trials of 21.1 percent, compared to a national average of 3 to 5 percent.
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE was recognized by Kaiser Health News for having zero catheter-associated urinary tract infections, central line-associated bloodstream infections, or MRSA in the intensive care unit, and one of the lowest Clostridium difficile rates in the state of Delaware. Consumer Reports’ January issue gave Saint Francis one of its highest ratings for its drastic reduction in central line-associated bloodstream infections.
