Corteva is about more than just technical innovation and product development. Corteva’s purpose is to enrich the
lives of those who produce and those who consume, ensuring progress for generations to come.
Part of that purpose includes helping
our neighbors throughout Delaware during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of those efforts, Corteva made additional donations to the Food Bank of Delaware, the Ministry of Caring and Sunday Breakfast Mission so that the people in the communities in which employees live and work would have food during these uncertain times.
Corteva also provided increased COVID-19 testing capacity support to Delaware DHSS leaders, made PPE donations
to Christina Care Health Systems and Rockford Center, donated to the Delaware State Student Emergency Fund (COVID release) and much more.
Throughout the company, volunteerism is supported by 16 hours employees
are encouraged to use for varying volunteer efforts. Corteva Grows, and employee volunteerism and community engagement program, launched in March 2021 with a webinar series focused on food security, green space, science outreach and engaging communities.
While the pandemic included circumstances beyond the normal
scope of volunteering and donating, Corteva continued its annual donations, supporting 29 organizations throughout the state of Delaware.
Farmers and the cities and counties they serve continue to face challenges day-in and day-out. Corteva remains committed to the next generation of farming and the next generation of farmers, because when they thrive, our world thrives with them.
