The University of Delaware’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus is turning discovery into positive impact for Delaware and the world.
As UD faculty pursue research collaborations and UD students engage in internships with the dynamic companies located at STAR Campus, these businesses gain access to
a vibrant talent pipeline. Work in health sciences, engineering, biotechnology, data science and analytics, policy, agriculture
and advanced materials is booming at
STAR Campus, and a new sector — financial technology or “FinTech” — is poised to take off.
The FinTech Innovation Hub, a partnership with Discover Bank and Delaware Technology Park, will improve access to financial systems for the underserved. Opening in fall 2021, the 100,000-square-foot facility will employ more than 300 people.
