improve patient care, Christiana Care’s Health & Technology Innovation Center brings together clinicians and information technology experts to harness emerging technologies and develop unique solutions for delivering the best possible care. Staffed with a team of award-winning software developers, designers and user experience analysts, the center empowers physicians, nurses and other health care professionals with new and disruptive solutions that create a better experience of care and better health.
Delaware’s most dynamic health care system
A not-for-profit, non-sectarian academic health system, Christiana Care includes two hospital campuses and trains more than 250 Medical-Dental residents and fellows.
It is home to Delaware’s only Level I trauma center for adults and children and the state’s Comprehensive Stroke Center, able to treat the most complex stroke cases. Christiana Care features a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, is a regional center of excellence in cardiology, cancer and women’s health services, and includes a home health care service, rehabilitation services, a network
of primary care physicians and extensive outpatient services.
