Founded in 1998, Founded in 1998, Harvey, Hanna & Associates (HHA) is a Delaware-
based real estate development company with significant record of success related to the acquisition, redevelopment and repopulation of underutilized properties in the Mid-Atlantic region. Led by E. Thomas Harvey, III and Thomas J. Hanna, the company has acquired and devel- oped more than 6 million square feet of space including industrial parks, business campuses, retail centers and hospitality destinations. Two of the most notable projects underway are the Boxwood Road Redevelopment in Wilmington and the mixed-use Lighthouse Cove resort redevelopment project in Dewey Beach.
The Boxwood Project: In October of 2017, HHA doubled their square footage by acquiring the former General Motors plant on Boxwood Road. HHA plans to redevelop the site into a modern day distribution, logistics and business campus that attracts thriving 21st century busi- nesses. The redevelopment creates a significant increase in jobs, tax revenue as well a positive
impact on property values in the immediate vicinity. The redevelopment of the plant is the first step in a wider effort by HHA to transform underutilized areas of New Castle County, specifically in and around the greater Newport area.
Lighthouse Cove: The multi-phased Light- house Cove redevelopment project features the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach Hotel, The Residences resort-style luxury condominiums; a 21st cen- tury events venue with banquet capability and meeting space; on-site award winning bay-side dinning at The Lighthouse Restaurant while all located on the Rehoboth Bay and within one block from the Atlantic Ocean. Thoughtfully designed and inspired by the family-vacation, Lighthouse Cove has already established itself as a vacation destination.
After decades of sustained, successful relation- ships with tenants of commercial and industrial properties, HHA is reinvigorating northern Dela- ware and the beach with real estate solutions.
