A NYC-bordering region extending along the majestic Hudson River from the tip of Manhattan to the state capital of Albany, the Hudson Valley’s rich history dates back to the Native Americans and the early Dutch colonists. The area also played a significant role during the American Revolutionary period. The Hudson Valley is a mecca for arts and culture lovers, with venues like the Tarrytown Music Hall, Ulster Performing Arts Center and Albany’s Palace Theatre. There are also various historic estates to explore such as Lyndhurst, Boscobel and the Vanderbilt Mansion. Those that visit the Hudson Valley once are sure to return time and time again.
