Joseph uses high-quality artificial greenery indoors, layering in berries and pinecones for an authentic look.
There’s a designated cocoa station in the kitchen.
“I make all the desserts from scratch, and the kids help,”
Joseph says. “My dessert table has grown each year.”
Aware that holiday experiences bring lasting memories for
kids, the couple plans outings the family can enjoy together. A favorite destination is Rose Tree Park in Media (“an amazing Christmas village and lights”), along with drives around various neighborhoods to take in holiday displays.
Joseph will help others get in the holiday spirit when he and WMMR’s Kathy Romano return as emcees of the West Chester Christmas Parade Dec. 6. And what about a white Christmas? “Sadly, statistics are very low,” Joseph says. “Philadelphia has a 9% chance of a white Christmas.” TH
