In years past, before Winterthur’s Point-to-Point in early May, there was always a gathering of carriages at the late George A. “Frolic” Weymouth’s Big Bend Farm in Chadds Ford. The day typically included about 30 whips, along with their turnouts, families, friends, grooms and dogs. Jamie and Phyllis Wyeth liked to bring along Ziggy, always smiling and anticipating a scrap or two of Walt’s Flavor Crisp Chicken— the lunch fare of choice for these special Saturday drives. —Jim Graham
