                    2024 Battle of Chadds Ford
September 14th, 10am - 5pm September 15th, 10am - 4pm
Join us for a historical journey back to September 11th 1777 when the British army engaged Washington’s troops at Chads’ Ford. Skirmishes will take place twice daily along with military drills. Battlefield encampments, reenactors, camp followers, demonstrators, artisans, authors, non-profits, youth activities, and lecture series will immerse everyone in the 18th century. Live music, food, local beer, and wine are also available for your enjoyment.
$10 for adults 18 & over
$5 for children ages 7 to 17

Pumpkin Carve
of Chadds Ford 2024
October 17 and 18 ~ 4pm to 9pm October 19 ~ 3pm to 9pm
Join us for a three day Chadds Ford tradition! Over 70 giant pumpkins are carved and lit by local artists on Thurs- day night and additionally displayed and lit on Friday & Saturday. Live music, artisans, a Haunted Trail, raffle prizes, food vendors, local craft beer, mead and wine will be available for all to enjoy!
$15 for adults 18 & over

of their priority list. “I figured everyone remembers the food, and I’ll look at the pictures for the rest of my life,” Vesna notes.
It rained all morning on wedding day. Luckily, everyone was prepared. “Brandywine Manor House has back-up plan after back-up plan,” says Vesna.
As Vesna prepared to meet her groom under the roof of a barn, the skies cleared, allowing for a first-look moment on a nearby bridge. Vesna walked down the aisle in the communion veil she and her mom had purchased in Ireland 23 years prior—her “something old.” The newly married duo attended a cocktail hour before making their way to the simple yet elegantly decorated
celebration space. “We were
able to actually enjoy the wedding,”
Vesna says. “You hear these horror stories
of couples who regret things because they didn’t get to dance, eat or enjoy the company of their guests. Eric and I made it a point
to dance and enjoy our wedding the
