MULTI-ROTOR COPTORS
 Inexpensive
 Relatively easy to operate
 Smaller coverage area (approximately 60 acres per flight)
 Ideal for inspections on:
 Logging jobs
 Site-prep and reforestation
 Checking damage from forest pests (e.g. beavers and beetles) and forest health
 Monitoring control burns
 Evaluating seedling survival

FIXED WING PLANES
 More expensive
 Complex to operate
(piloting skills needed)
 Larger coverage area (450-500 acres per flight)
 Ideal for gathering:  Imagery
 Stress data
 Heat signatures
