Mountain Laurel Medical Center
(mtnlaurel.org), with locations in Oakland and Grantsville, provides patients with access to a comprehensive suite of coordinated services, including primary care, behavioral health services, health insurance enrollment and lab services. In 2021 and 2022, Mountain Laurel received several awards from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration recognizing its quality of care, improvements in access to care, role in reducing health disparities and pioneering use of health information technology.
To help connect the community to medical services and education, Mountain Laurel has launched a community relations van that travels around its service area. The van offers health screenings and connects residents to any health- or nutrition-related help they may need.
Brookside Health & Wellness

in McHenry. It is part of an integrated network of physician clinics, outpatient centers and hospitals working to

locals alike, UPMC Outpatient Center in McHenry (wmhs.com/locations/upmc- urgent-care-mchenry) is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The urgent care center also offers primary care and
is connected to the world-renowned University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Another urgent care provider in McHenry,
WVU Urgent Care (wvumedicine.org/ wvum-services/urgent-care/maryland/ mchenry), is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
