For those who love fishing, Garrett County is a year-round destination for anglers from all over the country. Deep Creek Lake teems with walleye, yellow perch, bass, trout and northern pike, and
the Youghiogheny, Casselman, Potomac and Savage Rivers are ideal for fly-fishing.
