Casselman River Bridge
Spanning 80 feet, this bridge was the longest single-arch stone bridge in America when it was built in 1813. The bridge is still open
to pedestrians and is located in the smallest of Maryland’s state parks, complete with picnic sites and access for fly fishing on the Casselman.
Destination Weddings/ Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties
Garrett County offers a variety of settings to fit every couple’s taste, and the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is a good place for out- of-towners to begin their wedding, bachelor and bachelorette party planning. The Chamber can guide couples through the local market and advise them about area businesses that can meet their needs, familiarize them with local marriage license laws and, when the wedding day is close, provide guest bags of tourist information. to rock climb or do some white- water rafting, you can; if you
would rather laze around the lake on a pontoon, you can do that
