Jan Blumenthal, LPC, MEd, NBC, has over
25 years of experience working with families and young people facing anxiety, trauma and other mental health issues. She is the Clinical Director
of Adolescent Center for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults in Devon. Previously, she
worked at the Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital
in Philadelphia, where she served as the play/ counseling therapist. Jan specializes in helping young people overcome suicidal thoughts, anxiety, cutting and depression through a variety of treatment approaches including sand play, clay and talk therapy. She received her Gestalt Certificate from a three-year Pennsylvania Gestalt program and holds a masters degree in Counseling from Temple University.
