Southern Dutchess has been a magnet for artists and creatives of all kinds. Anchoring Beacon’s reputation as
a thriving center of the arts is Dia Beacon, one of the world’s leading contemporary art museums. Main Street also has several art galleries, like the Marion Royael Gallery, the BAU Gallery and the Clutter Gallery.
Spend the day discovering a whole roster of pick-your-own vegetables, fruits and 􏰀owers at Barton Orchards (Poughquag). Kids will love the petting zoo, corn maze and mini-golf course while the adults enjoy a craft brew or hard cider from The Tap Room. Even your four-legged family members can romp in the Bark Park.
