Joe Asher is the President of Sports Betting for IGT, a leading supplier
of technology to the global gaming industry. Previously, he was the CEO of William Hill US, from its found- ing in 2012 until its sale to Caesars Entertainment in 2021. Asher’s
work in the sports betting industry began when he founded Brandywine Bookmaking, a company he sold to
William Hill in 2012. Previously, he was an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Wilmington and New York.
A Delaware native, Asher graduated from the University of Delaware and the Delaware Law School of Widener University and served a judicial clerkship with Justice Joseph T. Walsh on the Supreme Court of Delaware. He recently completed two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Conference of Juvenile & Family Court Judges.
Chuck Durante is President of the Delaware State Bar Associa- tion, a partner at Connolly Gallagher LLP, fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Chair of the Board of Editors of Delaware Lawyer magazine, President of the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame, a trustee of the
Delaware Historical Society and President of the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association.
Steve Kramarck is an Associate Director with University Stu-
dent Centers at the University of Delaware. In this role, he manages student media (including campus radio station WVUD) and UD’s growing varsity Esports Program. Kramarck is a proud UD graduate, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mass Communication. In addition
to his work at UD, Kramarck serves on the Board of Governors for the Electronic Gaming Federation (EGF) esports league and helps to manage the press box. He also serves as backup PA announcer for the Philadelphia Flyers during the hockey season.
Dr. Matthew J. Robinson
serves as Deputy Director for the Community Engagement Initiative and is a full profes- sor at UD. He has authored two books and over 30 articles and has made over 100 national and international scholarly and professional presentations. In 2020, Robinson served on the
President’s Council on Sport, Fitness, Sports and Nutri- tion Science Board for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Robinson also served as interim Director of Athletics and Recreation for the University of Delaware in 2016. Robinson leads the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) as well
as two programs supported by the International Olym- pic Committee’s (IOC) Olympic Solidarity Fund: the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP) and the International Coaching Apprentice- ship in Basketball (ICAB). Through the two programs, Robinson has worked with over 400 international coaches from 125 countries in 24 different sports.
Jeffrey M. Schlerf has practiced law in Delaware for the past 32 years. His practice has focused on corporate reorganizations and financial restructurings, with a more recent emphasis on sports law. Currently, Schlerf serves as Chair of the ABA Busi- ness Law Section’s Sports Law Committee. In that role, he has
organized and moderated speaker panels and written articles on various sports-related legal topics. Schlerf is one of the co-owners of a minor league baseball team that was formerly affiliated with the Philadelphia Phil- lies and subsequently became an inaugural member of the MLB Draft League. In 2022, he received a graduate degree in Sports Industry Management from George- town University. Schlerf is also an Adjunct Professor at William and Mary Law School, his alma mater.
