Looking Ahead
As law libraries continue to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of practi- tioners and the general public, it is im- portant to be mindful that the needs of today may not necessarily be the needs of the future. While it is impossible to predict what our services will look like in the future, the constant collection and analysis of usage statistics is vital in making sure that our services continue to serve the patrons who use them, and in developing new resources to attract new patrons. Only by making sure that we know who is using our collections, what they are using, and what our us- ers and community want that we do not currently have, can we make certain that we are changing to meet the needs of our community.
