 WELCOME
             WELCOME TO CHESTER COUNTY
    Laura Manion
President & CEO
Over the course of the last year, The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI) has undergone a period of transition and made considerable gains toward a renewed sense
of stability.
Under new leadership, the Chamber has appointed three new staff members and expanded available positions that were eliminated during the COVID- 19 pandemic, designed a new logo, website and re-branded its image, utilized a new CRM system to optimize the membership experience and analytics, all while organically growing membership.
The new leadership has resulted in 14 new Board
of Directors appointments, with increased diversity of thought, industry, and location around the county. 2024 brings a new Board Chair, Officers, and Executive Committee that will continue to work toward establishing CCCBI as a leadership model for other chambers across the state.
Event size, frequency, and attendance has grown within the last year from an average of two events per month to an average of four events per month with 43 events in total. CCCBI hosts various signature events focusing on networking, recognizing, and championing community leaders, small businesses, and women influencing business.
CCCBI’s Foundation runs an extensive Youth Leadership Program (YLP) with seven students from Chester County high schools participating in the program in 2023. CCCBI also hosted an exceptionally successful regional Civics Bee in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and local partners.
In addition to YLP, CCCBI has curated strong leadership for several of its committees and programs. The Women Influencing Business Committee is dedicated to connecting, supporting, and highlighting female business professionals from across Chester County through networking and educational events. Committees like the Young Professionals, Ambassadors, and Government Affairs continue to host meetings and community events that spread the mission of CCCBI, encourage professional development, and support its membership.
The re-vamped Governance, Veterans and Small Business Councils have returned now that the Chamber is fully staffed and the membership is fully engaged. CCCBI has made an intentional effort to nurture partnerships with its community partners, such as the Economic Development Council, larger nonprofits throughout the
county, workforce development organizations, transportation management, and the various school districts and institutions of higher education throughout the region.
In the interest of our member businesses and employees, we have prioritized advocacy on both the state and local levels to encourage pro-growth and pro-business legislation, all in service of making Chester County a great place to work, live, and prosper.
CCCBI is turning a corner and reestablishing itself as the premier chamber of influence in Chester County.
