16,000-square-foot STEM Wing. New in the fall of 2023 will be a nursing simulation

With cloud administration, architecture and development operations among
the most in-demand and high-priority IT occupations in Chester County, DCCC now offers an associate degree and certificate of proficiency in cloud computing. The program prepares students for certification exams in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Solutions Architect.
DCCC’s additional new programs include emergency medical technician certification and emergency services certification.
The latter was developed with significant
consideration of the coursework by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as well as state and local emergency services organizations, and serves as a stepping-stone toward an associate degree in Emergency Management & Planning.
Chester County businesses in the manufacturing and technology sectors can benefit from DCCC’s status as a Workforce and Economic Development Network
of Pennsylvania (WEDnetPA) partner. WEDnetPA was created to make companies across the Commonwealth more competitive by updating and improving the skills of their employees. Companies that qualify for WEDnetPA can participate
in WEDnetPA’s job skills training grant, which helps subsidize employee training costs. Companies must complete an online application and can partner with DCCC, which serves both Chester and Delaware County businesses and offers affordable, qualified, customized training workshops. Companies should contact Michelle Wallace at mwallace@dccc.edu for more details.
