The Montefiore Health System has been expanding its footprint in Westchester and now includes White Plains Hospital, which recently opened a new 252,000 sq. ft. Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery. The Center includes outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging services, maternal fetal medicine, and specialty practice offices. Montefiore Health Systems also operates Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital, and Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, and Montefiore Nyack Hospital, in Rockland County.
Health Quest, which joined with Western Connecticut Health Network to form Nuvance Health, is the largest family of nonprofit hospitals and healthcare providers in the Hudson Valley. Health Quest hospitals include Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Northern Dutchess Hospital, and Putnam Hospital Center.
The Hudson Valley is also home to Helen Hayes Hospital in Rockland and to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital/Newburgh and Garnet Health Medical Center (formerly Orange Regional Medical Center) in Orange.
Medical Groups
CareMount Medical is the largest independent multi-specialty medical group in New York State, boasting professionals in nearly every specialty, as well as a robust suite of virtual visits.
NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group
is part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian. These medical practices have primary and specialty care physicians, as well as subspecialists in many areas. NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, and has locations across central and southern Westchester, while NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley is affiliated with NewYork- Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, and has northern Westchester and Putnam County locations.
NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) medical groups are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, which is affiliated with Columbia University Vagelos College
of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine.
ONS Orthopedic & Neurosurgery Specialists, with offices in Harrison, as well as Greenwich and Stamford, CT, offers elite services with a team of surgeons and specialists providing high-quality care. All locations have an orthopedic urgent care center.
Westmed Medical Group consists of more than 500 top physicians and advanced care providers, and focuses on cutting-edge data analysis to create models of predictive health at its locations in Westchester.
ENT and Allergy Associates has more
than 180 physicians practicing in 40+ locations. Adult and pediatric ENT and allergy treatments are available for Westchester patients at seven county locations.
New York Spine & Pain Physicians, one of the nation’s largest pain-management practices, has a location in White Plains.
Formé Medical Center & Urgent Care, located in White Plains, provides physicians in different specialties — such as neurology, gynecology, dermatology, and nutrition — all under one roof. The facility now offers medical memberships, providing annual subscriptions for all healthcare needs.
REHABILITATION SERVICES
Located in White Plains, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, part of the Montefiore Health System, is known for its superb inpatient and outpatient rehab services. Centers Health Care Martine Center in White Plains has rehabilitation and nursing services including amputee recovery and training, cardiac therapy, palliative care, and more. Elizabeth Seton Children’s in Yonkers provides specialized clinical and rehabilitation services to children with physical and neurological conditions and disabilities. Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla provides round-the-clock clinical care by in-house pediatricians and a social worker for every child.
URGENT CARE
The rapidly growing urgent care sector means patients throughout the Hudson Valley have quick access to medical care.
