   HOME VALUE
and offers rich history, diverse cultures, vibrant neighborhoods, and friendly people. There are a variety of things to see and do, from our nationally accredited County Parks System, to historic landmarks, to our active art exhibits, top-rated restaurants, and more.
Westchester County is a great place to live for many reasons. We have top-notch school districts, a scenic waterfront, culture and diversity, and dozens of quaint towns and villages for you to discover with family and friends. Our mass transportation system can get you into the heart of New York City in less than an hour, but we are far enough away to maintain our peaceful tranquility. These qualities are all part of the fabric that makes our county unique, and the best place for you to call home.
During my time as county executive, I have had the pleasure of welcoming thousands of people who visit each year. I encourage you to use our website— westchestercountyny.gov—as your guide. The site is full of wonderful activities to enjoy close to home.
If you’d like to learn more about our parks and recreational areas, head to parks.westchestergov.com.
You can also visit our tourism website, visitwestchesterny.com, to discover ways to go beyond, without going far.
Together, we will continue to make Westchester County a place for everyone to live, work, and enjoy. We’re glad you’re here.
Sincerely,
George Latimer
