NORTH COUNTY
Rustic sophistication is the vibe in the villages, hamlets, and towns of Westchester’s North County.
Bedford
This chicly rural town has been home to the likes of Ralph Lauren, Michael Douglas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Replete with horse farms and pastoral beauty, Bedford includes the hamlets of Bedford Village, Bedford Hills, and Katonah. Don’t miss: Cultural treasures like Caramoor Center for Music and the Ar ts, the Katonah Museum of Ar t, and the Bedford Playhouse; locally sourced American fare at The Whitlock and creative tacos at Truck; animals galore at Muscoot Farm; a stroll through Lasdon Park & Arboretum.
Lewisboro
Rural Lewisboro borders western Connecticut and encompasses the hamlets of Cross River, Goldens Bridge, Lewisboro, South Salem, Vista, and Waccabuc. Known for its scenic charm, horse farms, and riding trails, the town is rich with natural parks and preserves. Comprising the affluent hamlets of Chappaqua and Millwood, New Castle is well-known for its top schools, convenient location, and celebrity residents, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as a pleasant and walkable downtown. North Castle
Homes within Nor th Castle’s hamlet of Armonk sit on large plots of land, and the small village bustles with excellent eats, high-end boutiques, and lots of well-heeled residents.
