at events — it happens at monthly meetings, too! Interested in learning more about what is going on in the Greater Bethesda area and developing relationships while strengthening your business and
the Chamber? Then take a look at these opportunities and join a committee or group! All members can attend any meeting unless otherwise noted.
NEXTEXECS (YOUNG PROFESSIONAL GROUP)
This group is for young professionals in the greater Bethesda community interested in engaging in business networking, professional development and community service in order to position themselves for optimal career growth.
Meets: 4th Tuesday of the month, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, followed by a networking happy hour.
Co-Chairs: Andrew Borkoski (M&T Bank) and Tiffany Nesfield (Nesfield Performance)
Staff Liaison: Carla Young
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT GROUP
This committee is for those who believe in the Chamber, its activities and mission, and want to help make it stronger and grow by building our member network and presence in the community. Projects include retention calls and visits, Walk-Arounds, and the Ambassador program.
Meets: 4th Tuesday of the month, 10:00 am – 11:00 am. For current members only.
Co-Chairs: Charles Atwell (Washington Workplace) and Jonathan Olsen (Edward Jones)

HEALTH CARE AND WELLNESS GROUP
The purpose of this group is to meet and network with businesses that provide direct health and wellness care or services and stay current with              education and resource dissemination, networking, corporate and community outreach, and referral opportunities for members.
Meets: 2nd Thursday of the month, 9:00 am – 10:00 am. For clinicians or those working directly with patients only.
Co-Chairs: Okinyi Ayungo, CSCS (FitnessWise) and Livleen Gill, MBA,RD, LDN (Bethesda NEWtrition & Wellness Solutions)

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The members of this committee help shape the Chamber’s economic development and public policy roles by developing a proactive agenda and monitoring all issues affecting living, working and doing business in the Greater Bethesda community.
Meets: 4th Wednesday of the month, 8:00 am – 9:00 am
Co-Chairs: Ellen Coren (Chesapeake Public Strategies) and Lawrence Kotchek (Print1)
Staff Liaison: Allie Williams REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE
Learn about the ongoing changes in commercial, retail and residential real estate in the community. Speakers focus on current and future real estate projects and issues.
Meets: 4th Wednesday of the month, 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Co-Chairs: Gary Unterberg (Rodgers Consulting) and Brendan McKay (McKay Mortgage)
Staff Liaison: Allie Williams SENIOR MARKET GROUP (SMG)
Meet and network with businesses that provide services or information to seniors and stay current with the latest issues and ideas that affect this market in our area. This group also focuses on providing education, networking and referral opportunities for members.
Meets: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 9:00 am – 10:00 am
