The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is a biomedical research organization and
us all. Established in 1953, HHMI employs scientists, provides research and education grants, offers free classroom resources, and shares inspiring stories of science. Thirty- three current or former HHMI scientists have won the Nobel Prize. We’re proud to call Montgomery County home.
