DISCOVER A MEMORABLE DINING DESTINATION
If you can’t make it to the restaurant, you can be sure to encounter a Jimmy’s truck at most local festivals.
If you prefer your seafood Cajun-flavored, try Hook & Reel Cajun & Seafood Bar
in Owings Mills. Or, for a bit of Caribbean flair, head to Konoko Restaurant in White Marsh. Lamb chops grilled with jerk spices, anyone?
For a classic American tavern atmosphere, Kooper’s North in Lutherville-Timonium is a great bet.
Want to try everything? A great time to discover what our restaurants are all about is Baltimore County Restaurant Week, a 16-day summer promotion that offers special prix-fixe deals at participating venues twice a year.
Beer and wine lovers have plentiful options. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is our most famous beer destination, but make sure to stop by the taprooms at Key Brewing Co. and Red Brick Station Restaurant & Brew Pub too!
Oenophiles will feel at home on the Piedmont Wine Trail, which incorporates several stops in Baltimore County: the Basignani Winery in Sparks, and DeJon Vineyard and Boordy Vineyards in Hydes. Stop by for tastings, tours and other special events.
THE VALLEY INN
While the Baltimore area is famous for its crab feasts (and we would never disparage a good crab cake), there’s so much more to discover in Baltimore County’s dining scene.
The crown jewels of county dining include the beautiful, historic properties that Baltimore City-based Atlas Restaurant Group has recently renovated and reimagined. One is The Oregon Grille, a romantic getaway restaurant in the heart of Hunt Valley — an area of Baltimore County commonly known as “horse country.” The Grille’s classic seafood and steak menu pairs well with the historic farmhouse surroundings. While not part of the Atlas portfolio, The Milton Inn in Sparks is another historic dining treasure, located in a 281-year-old fieldstone house.
Another Atlas property is The Valley Inn, whose showstopping patio is a can’t- miss destination. Enjoy brunch, lunch,

dinner or cocktails in the main dining room or in an open-air setting, sample locally sourced oysters at the “O” Bar or stroll through the inn’s gardens to round out your dining experience. Atlas also operates Perennial in Towson, a destination for
classic American dining sourced from
local farmers. If support of area vendors is important to you, you’ll also want to stop by The Local, an elevated dining destination with a local spin located at THE AVENUE at White Marsh.
For dessert, head to Parkville’s Enchanted Cakes and Treats for delicious, Instagram-worthy milkshakes and sundaes. Nothing Bundt Cakes in Owings Mills is another must-stop for unforgettable treats.
One of Baltimore County’s most storied seafood destinations is Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, whose crabcakes are legendary.
