Dr. Victor Basili of Lewes earns engineering accolade

Dr. Victor Basili, a resident of Lewes and a member of UNICO Rehoboth Area Chapter, recently honored at the UNICO National Mid-year Board Meeting in Virginia, has been notified that he has also been chosen to receive the 2023 TCSE (Technical Council on Software Engineering) Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award is in recognition of his contributions in formalizing the concepts around measurement programs and process improvement to support decision- making in software development orga- nizations, and founding the field of empirical software engineering. IAH
The award recognizes his contributions toward founding the field of empirical software engineering.
