The May 22 Feast of Saint Rita is an extraordinary day at the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia,
a Pearl in the Heart of South Philadelphia on Broad Street. Visitors come from all over the world to celebrate, buy roses blessed during Mass, visit the shrine & gift shop.

Di Giulio, who carries St. Rita’s statue during this ROSE-STREWN FEAST. With mass celebrated by Cardinal Justin Francis Rigali, what a sight to see roses flooding the sidewalks of Broad Street, thru the pews of the magnificent
grapevines. Brothers Sal and Chef Tony D’Angelo, loyal supporters of St. Rita’s Feast, in memory of their mother, live Italian every day. Enjoy lunch, dinner or late night dancing at this popular Rittenhouse Square gem.
September 28, South Philly, Popi’s Italian Restaurant presents Nostalgia Night for Palumbo’s 25th Year Anniversary of Fire with
