Un Paese che non è tradizionalmente calcistico.
Quando mai in Qatar hanno giocato
a pallone? Quando mai lì c'è stato un campionato di calcio? Dove giocavano? Nei pozzi di petrolio? Non c'era lo spazio. C'erano le trivelle."

Holiday toy drive returns
Through Dec. 15, three local businesses are supporting an annual toy drive to bring cheer to patients at A.I. du Pont Children’s Hospital. The toy drive is sponsored by WILM News Radio 1450 and Mattinata Musicale. Toys can be dropped at Serpe’s Bakery, 1411 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere; Mark’s Barbershop, 1119 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere; and Carman Ford, 193 S. Du Pont Highway, New Castle. IAH

Infine, Fiorello ritorna sullo sport e fa i complimenti all'Italrugby, che sabato scorso a Firenze ha battuto per la prima volta l'Australia: "Un'impresa impossibile, come se la Cavese battesse il Paris Saint-Germain a calcio. Potevo dire anche il Priolo oppure il Megara, la squadra di Augusta, il mio paese. Il rugby si sta svegliando.”
