Blessed with Post-Covid trips to my grand- mother’s hilltop village in Loreto Aprutino for up to 2 months at a time, has allowed
me to be part of daily Italian family life. Literally, my authentic Italian Family, has welcomed me into their lives from witnessing christenings to funerals. THANK YOU to Simona, Carla and Rita Nobilio plus Antonietta their mother, my hostess and
my grandmother’s niece who I call “La Regina” and their husbands, children and friends. In addition I was welcomed with the Acciavatti kindness of my grandfather’s family, my cousins Irene and Roaldo Acciavatti and their family and friends.
I am grateful for new friends in Italy and meeting more family relatives on every trip.
