DELAWARE
Bayside Resort Golf Club (Selbyville) After 18 years of running the day-to-day operations, Bob Crowther will now be the director of golf education at Bayside, teaching and coaching full time and hosting educational seminars for the membership. The new director of golf is Eric Mason.
Eagle Creek Golf Club (Dover) Now any golfer can play the military-only golf course at Dover Air Force Base by signing up for a six-month public pass. Details available at doverfss.com.
Frog Hollow Golf Club (Middletown) Should you find yourself in one of the greenside bunkers at Frog Hollow, you’ll no doubt appreciate the fact that they have all been renovated over the past 18 months.

Cobbs Creek Golf Course (Philadelphia) After clearing
a major legal hurdle earlier this year, it looks like the planned renovation of this venerable course is finally going to happen. The restoration will feature a championship golf course designed by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, a community and education center, a driving range, a nine-hole short course, and a restaurant.
Green Valley Country Club (Lafayette Hill) On the heels of last year’s outdoor bar/patio area, Green Valley has completed extensive bunker renovations and drainage projects. The club is hosting the Taylor Made Classic, the GAP senior major and the Brewer Cup this summer.
Loch Nairn Golf Club (Avondale) New Garden Township has acquired the club’s former site for use as a passive-recreation park. More details coming soon.
Paxon Hollow Golf Club (Media) Paxon Hollow is embarking on an ambitious facelift that includes changes to the first three holes of the golf course and the addition of a full-scale driving range. The project will also feature a golf shop, a snack bar with patio, and more. Construction began in April. All
18 holes of the current golf course will remain open for the duration of the project.
Penn Oaks Golf Club (West Chester) Look for upgrades to the bar, seating and cooking areas. An 18-hole putting course is also being added.

Rookery North Golf Course (Milford) It looks like a beloved Delaware course will be spared the wrecking ball. New owner and developer Tim Johnson has announced that the site will remain an 18-hole golf course, with additional plans for a golf and pickle ball pro shop, a restaurant, and a brewpub.
PENNSYLVANIA
Applebrook Golf Club (Malvern) The club will be in tip-top shape this summer as it prepares to host the Philadelphia PGA’s Silvercrest Cup in late August. Course recommendations from architect Gil Hanse have been completed. They include
a new irrigation system, seven new bunkers, extended championship tees on six holes and more.
Bala Golf Club (Philadelphia) Fresh off last season’s renovations of the locker rooms, grillroom, halfway house, bar and patio, the club marks 100 years since William Flynn’s redesign and expansion.

Topgolf (King of Prussia) Construction of the 48.5-acre facility continues. The year-round, climate-controlled complex will offer a new type of golf experience, along with a full food and bar menu, live music, and meeting space. Though a summer 2023 opening has been publicized, the project timelines have changed often.
Wyncote Golf Club (Oxford) The Pepple family is celebrating their club’s 30th anniversary this year. They’ll debut a new restaurant with a locally sourced menu and stunning views of the golf course and adjacent farmlands. GG
