Wetland Mitigation at Peterson Wildlife Refuge, Phase 2
The project involved the construction of the Phase 2 wetland mitigation at the Peterson Wildlife Refuge at the Wilmington Riverfront. JJID utilized a number of technological tools and equipment to achieve the very tight grading tolerances required for creating the hydrology needed in this mitigation project. Working in a tidal environment and in a year with near historic rainfall amounts, the contractor was able to meet project schedule and performance requirements.
