DEAEYC advocates for and supports the
Early Care and Education (ECE) profession
in Delaware. More recently we have
supported the profession by leading
advocacy and support efforts for the ECE
industry throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, deaeyc launched the Delaware
Early Learning Advancement Program (delap)
that will provide professional support and
training, retention and recruitment supports
for providers and the workforce. Delaware ranks 36th in the nation in ECE and 42nd in access to affordable pre-kindergarten for 3 and 4 year olds. Our advocacy strives to increase ECE access & affordability to all families in Delaware while elevating those in the profession.

You can become a founding supporter of the Delaware Early Learning Advancement Program by donating $100 to https://deaeyc.org/donate-to- deaeyc/. This donation will support expansion of professional services available to the ECE workforce throughout Delaware.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
You can become a mentor or professional support volunteer to an Early Care and Education center or staff member by emailing admin@deaeyc.org.
We also have positions available on our Board of Directors. Use your professional expertise to support the ECE industry!
