HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
The only tuition-free community children’s
chorus in the nation, the Wilmington
Children’s Chorus (WCC), is dedicated to
ensuring all children, regardless of their
socioeconomic status, have access to
high-quality musical education. Our
instruction emphasizes music literacy,
singing, culture, and history, and teaches
youth and families about responsibility,
leadership, and teamwork. WCC has
connected with thousands of children, ages 5-18, across Delaware and provided Wilmington’s most under-resourced children with opportunities for creative expression and music-making.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Access to music education is crucial for a child’s development. Students exposed to art and music perform better academically, demonstrate increased social skills and compassion for others, and are more invested in their communities. Your donation will support WCC and our young people!
