Kent County brands itself as the
quaint village getaway, designed to
appeal to people who want a quiet
trip to historic Dover and small towns
nestled in wetlands. As the president
for the last fi ve years, Pete Bradley
has led a way in leveraging hidden
gems in central Delaware to residents
in Delaware and outside the state.
Recently, he oversaw a marketing
rebrand for the organization to
“Visit Central Delaware – Explore
the Unexpected.” Before his tenure
at Kent County Tourism, he previously
served as vice president and general
manager of casino operations for
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino for 16
years.

Management
TKo Hospitality Management is
celebrating 10 years in business this
year. Starting with one hotel in late
2014, TKo has grown to currently
operate 16 hotels in the Mid-Atlantic
region, with seven in DE, and 5 new
hotels in the pipeline. TKo also
operates several restaurants and
event centers in Delaware, Maryland
and Pennsylvania which include the
Lighthouse Dewey Beach and Sirocco
Food & Drink, Rehoboth Beach.
Th is past year, TKo launched a new
division, TKo Golf, and manages two
golf courses in the Lehigh Valley.
TKo Hospitality currently employs
over 1,000 team members and
has become a highly recognized
management company winning
major awards with Hyatt, Hilton
and Marriott for excellence in
operational management and property
development and renovations.

Thomas Cook
Delaware River and
Bay Authority
Th omas Cook is the Executive
Director of the Delaware River and Bay
Authority, the bi-state agency’s Chief
Executive Offi cer and is responsible
for the management and operations
of the Delaware Memorial Bridge, the
Cape May-Lewes Ferry, the Forts Ferry
Crossing, fi ve regional airports as well
as economic development initiatives.
He served as Delaware’s Secretary
of Finance in Gov. Jack Markell’s
administration, and became the
longest serving Secretary of Finance
in Delaware’s history. Cook led the
development and implementation
of the state’s sports lottery system
and was one of the major architects
responsible for updating Delaware’s
corporate tax laws. During his tenure,
Delaware was one of only nine states to
maintain a Triple A bond rating from
all three major rating agencies.

Th e Kramedas family has been in
the hotel business since the 1960s,
developing eight hotels in that time.
When Tom Kramedas took over as
president in 2000, he helped grow
the fi rm’s portfolio and added more
development projects into the family
business. In 2006, Axia brought the fi rst
branded hotel to Middletown. In the
past few years, Axia has added Fairfi eld
Inn & Suites by Marriott Middletown,
and the company has plans to open a
shopping center across the highway.
Today, Kramedas oversees around nine
hotels in Delaware and Maryland.
