OUR MISSION
To raise funds for partner Meals on Wheels programs, to ensure uninterrupted delivery of meals to senior Delawareans in their homes.

We raise funds and awareness in support
of five independent meal delivery programs.
In 2022, seniors who had remained at home
during the pandemic were comfortable to
share a meal with friends at senior centers
again. This was good news, while the
number of home delivered meals dropped
from the previous year, seniors were less
isolated and had the chance to socialize
and attend enrichment activies. In 2023,
the numbers are increasing once again as food
prices remain high. Across the state of Delaware, 825,000 meals were delivered to 6,200 seniors last year.

2023 has seen continued confidence in meeting in person for many and our fundraising events are back to their regular schedule. The numbers of seniors requesting help with a home delivered meal continue to rise as the over 70s population increases. Join us in raising funds for them in 2024 by sponsoring an event, buying a ticket, or donating an item. Your contribution will make a difference.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer to help with a fundraising event. Events take place throughout
the year and across the state. Volunteer on the event day, or join the planning committee. Volunteer to deliver meals on a weekday lunchtime with your local Meals On Wheels program. For more information on ways to get involved visit MealsOnWheelsDE.org
