OUR MISSION
... is to bring a sense of place to Delawareans and a sense of Delaware to the nation through robust news and programming, both on-air and online.

We are the only public media news service founded in Delaware and are dedicated
to covering the unique issues, events and culture of Delaware. Delaware Public Media presents high-quality statewide news through audio, video and text media, on air at WDDE 91.1 FM, WMHS 88.1 FM, and online at delawarepublic.org. We collaborate with Delaware State University and University
of Delaware, and support students in select high schools of the Red Clay, Brandywine and POLYTECH School Districts at McKean.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Delaware Public Media relies on volunteers throughout the state who serve on our Board of Directors and Community Advisory Board, and others who help out during fund drives! We’re also especially proud to work with students from Delaware State University and University of Delaware who volunteer with us as part of their studies. We welcome and encourage requests from those would would like to help us live our mission in one or more activities.
