St. Michael’s School has been caring
for and educating Wilmington’s youngest
children for 132 years. We are a quality
early care and education center serving
children from infancy up to kindergarten
entry year-round.
The pandemic has made it even more
apparent the critical role that St. Michael’s
plays as a safe, stabilizing factor in the
East Side of the city.
As one of only three 5-STARS level centers in the neighborhood, we are a dependable, essential community asset, offering programs and resources for families that extend beyond the classroom.

Individual and group opportunities available year round! Engage our urban children in outdoor learning activities. Help organize and stock our Family Resource Room. Hold employee drives for baby supplies, early learning books, school and art supplies, or winter coats for children and adults. Join our new Pre-K Book Club – and so much more!
