People’s Place II, Inc. has been serving
Delawareans for 50 years. We are proud to
offer high quality services to some of our
most vulnerable neighbors. Well qualified
staff provide mental health counseling,
victim-offender mediation, domestic
violence services including Spanish and
English-speaking resource hotlines and three
shelters, family visitation centers, emergency
homeless shelter, transitional housing, veterans outreach,
and a girl’s group home and independent living program for foster youth.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
People’s Place is a nonprofit 501 (c)3 and donations are tax-deductible. Your gift is greatly appreciated and will help the people we serve by helping them “find their path to growth and independence.” Sponsorship opportunities for fundraising events, hosting your own fundraiser for the agency, donating directly on our website, monthly and legacy giving, or contributing through United Way to People’s Place (#455), are a few examples of how giving can change lives.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are a number of ways you can help support our mission. We always welcome anyone that is interested in serving on our board, a committee or assisting with events. Opportunities are also available to join other volunteers working at our Center for Community Justice Program to mediate misdemeanor cases referred by the justice system.
