HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
The Music School of Delaware offers
private instrumental and vocal instruction, introductory and supplemental music classes and ensembles, public perfromances and performance opportunities for students, faculty, and special guests. We strive to foster individual advancement of music skills, knowledge, and appreciation by providing
a foundation for many types of musical expression while preserving traditions of classical music training and performance.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are welcome at The Music School of Delaware! Volunteers help
as ushers and greeters at the 100+ public performances of the school, assist with our MELODY after-school program in Wilmington and more! For volunteer opportunities, please email development@musicschoolofdelaware.org.
LEADERSHIP
The Music School’s Board of Directors has been cited for its standard-setting leadership. Current officers are John du Pont, Chair, Murali K. Venkatesh (Kris), First Vice Chair, Richard Facciolo, Esq., Second Vice Chair, Scott Burris, Secretary, and Holly Lissner, Treasurer.
The school’s President and CEO, Kate M. Ransom, has provided visionary leadership of the Music School for over 23 years, leading to national accreditation, program advances, and greater financial stability. She has steered the school to consistently pursue excellence and access for all.
A faculty leadership team is supervised by the Dean, Cheri Astolfi, with Milford Branch Director, Mary Jane Vanvestraut and together they formulate, implement, and assess programs of the school and monitor student progress.
