STORYVILLE
Storyville is an interactive early literacy and learning center
HELPING KIDS OF ALL AGES PLAY, READ AND LEARN
BABY, TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL STORY TIMES offer fun and engaging early learning experiences. Early childhood staff shares activities with parents and caregivers that promote early learning through books, music, movement and everyday activities with their babies and young children.
PLAY AND LEARN CENTERS in the children’s area at all branches support early learning. A variety of early learning toys and materials are available for parents and caregivers to
engage with their young
children. Themes, such
as dinosaurs, pets, wild animals, farm animals, bugs, community helpers, transportation and nursery rhymes, are featured and rotate throughout the year.

STORYLINE gives children listening access to imaginative and seasonal stories selected by our Youth and Family Engagement department by calling 410-887-6116. Hear two new stories every week.
ELEMENTARY
The library offers a variety of out-of-school-time programs that are fun, educational and relate to STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, math) initiatives. Offerings include maker programs, computer coding, LEGOs, cultural/ music/arts programs, professional storytellers, puppet shows, children’s theater, children’s authors and illustrators, science shows and much more.
