      ALLAN MYERS
Allan Myers is awarded an Excellence in the Site/Civil $50M
and over category for the US 301 Realignment. Allan Myers partnered with DelDOT to realign 4.5 miles of US 301, alleviating congestion and supporting Middletown’s growing community. The new four-lane interstate opened in January 2019.
CORRADO CONSTRUCTION
Corrado Construction is awarded an Excellence in Site/Civil $2- 5M for Datwyler Pharmaceutical in Middletown. For the design/ build project, Corrado was part of the team that helped reduce costs and make design changes, while completing the complex sitework package two weeks ahead of schedule.
M. DAVIS & SONS
M. Davis & Sons is presented an Excellence in the specialty/ rigging category. M. Davis installed the largest modular
central utility plant to date, on the University of Delaware Biopharmaceutical Institute’s roof. Some of the largest cranes on the east coast were utilized, plus cutting edge rigging practices.
BPGS CONSTRUCTION
An Excellence in the GC/CM $2-5M is presented to BPGS Construction for DE.CO, a food hall in the DuPont Building. The project involved the demolition of existing office/retail space and the fitting out of an atrium bar, dining area, restrooms, dishwasher room and eight stalls.
    GGA CONSTRUCTION
In GC/CM $5-10M category, an Excellence is presented to GGA Construction for Georgetown’s Hilton TRU. This was a 43,263 sq. ft. new construction building that was completed within a year time-frame. The hotel has 90 rooms, fitness center, pool, gaming area, patio and lobby.
    BPGS
BPGS is awarded an Excellence in the GC/CM $20-30M category for the Wilmington Sports Facility. The 161,000 sq. ft. sports complex is home to the 76ers G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. It includes turf fields, sports performance facility and a sports medicine office.
