For des- sert, try the homemade barley wine ice cream over almond butter. A 15-seat patio opens in summer months; an adjacent beer garden is planned. Port Chester

A wood-burning oven and grill is the centerpiece of Arrosto, successful Manhattan restaurateur (Carmine’s, Ouest, Virgil’s BBQ) Godfrey Polistina’s 230-seat farm-to-table Italian eatery. Menu items by Chef Richard Corbo include wood-oven-fired pizzas, housemade pastas (tortelli with pork cheeks, red cabbage, and mustard seed), roasted pork shoul- der, and roasted chicken with garlic.
