                               Delco-centric bucket list
             1. Indulge in a tasting at Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford. If you’d rather taste at home, contact-free curbside pickup is available!
2.Rent a kayak or tube and drift your worries away on the Brandywine River.
3. Put on a marathon of movies filmed in Delco. They include Silver Linings Playbook, Marley & Me and The Lovely Bones.
4.Host a socially distant tea party! You can grab supplies from the Painted Tea Cup in Upper Darby or A Taste of Britain in Wayne.
5. Grab a burger and milkshake from Charlie’s Hamburgers in Folsom —
a Delco legend since 1935!
6.Take in an outdoor theater
production! Hedgerow Theatre’s
Shakespeare by the Brook is set to open
June 18. Other Delco venues, such as the Media Theatre, are firming up plans to bring audiences back as well, so keep an eye out for more.
THINGS TO DO
IN 2021 #7 #11
7. Stop by the Brandywine River Museum of Art to take a selfie with Miss Gratz, the lovely
bronze cow sculpture!
8. Cool down with some water ice! It’s a signature Delco treat. Rosati Water Ice and Georgeo’s Water Ice are both made right here.
9. Attend one of the 40 concerts at the Rose Tree Park Summer Festival! Performances happen Wednesday through Sunday evenings from mid-June to mid-August.
10. Go on an antique shopping spree for
furniture, retro vinyl, jewelry and more at some of our favorite Delco destinations, such as Brandywine View Antiques, Gradyville’s Den of Antiquity,
Main Line Vintage & Estate or Silver Moon Studio Antiques.
11. Take in a Philadelphia Union game. As of this writing, the stadium was open to fans at reduced capacity.
