Ulster County golf courses are not only challenging, but they are among the most scenic and affordable in the country. The sprawling county, which is geographically the size of the state of Rhode Island, has some of the best public and semi-private golf courses in New York. The Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston, which opened to the public last year after being a private club for its first 85 years, has made the assortment of courses available to everyone even stronger. No matter what a golfer shoots in Ulster County, he or she will have the time of their lives.
