GIVING BACK TO THE BOROUGH
The Queens Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that was established in 1999 to foster, promote and support the economic viability of Queens County. The Queens Chamber created the Foundation to support the broader economic and business-related needs of the borough of Queens:
• Develop, promote and support plans and programs for the growth and development of Queens County
• To propose, foster, promote and support the development of transportation facilities and urban renewal projects
• To support the institutions of higher learning and to provide scholarships to students in those schools
• To support programs to enhance Queens County as a place of tourism, opportunity, business and industry
• Support the economic success of the County by focusing on employment, providing linkages between businesses and applicants
The Queens Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. seeks funding from foundations, Queens businesses and grants from the City, County and State to support its mission.
