COMMITTEES
 COMMUNICATIONS
The Communications Committee is the media liaison between the press and Queens business owners. It disseminates news and key information pertaining to movements and trends throughout the borough and metropolitan area, while coordinating publicity and outreach to the general public.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENTAL
The Energy & Environmental Committee informs and educates Queens business owners and residents alike about energy supply challenges and opportuni- ties facing the community while promoting sensible solutions to meet demand with local resources for the purpose of accelerating regional economic growth.
HEALTHCARE & WELLNESS
The Healthcare & Wellness Committee educates Queens County residents and business owners about key healthcare policies affecting the region
while raising awareness about contemporary health-and-wellness strategies that extend and improve the quality of life locally.
HOSPITALITY & RESTAURANT
The Hospitality & Restaurant Committee is charged with keeping all Chamber members up-to-date on the finer details of the hospitality industry in Queens and Greater New York area. Members will collaborate and discuss current issues and potential opportunities.
MANUFACTURING
As a central source of information, the Queens Chamber of Commerce monitors and responds to initiatives that affect the economic development of local manufacturers. The Manufacturing Committee advocates for
local manufacturers and encourages local, state, and national government action that is “business friendly” to the manufacturing community.
NOT-FOR-PROFIT
The Not-For-Profit Committee effectively educates the Queens community about not only the development of not-for-profit organizations but actually educates not-for-profits themselves on issues that can affect their day-to-day activities, identifying areas of growth and opportunity along the way.
REAL ESTATE
The real-estate industry is always faced with one challenge or another, and the Queens Chamber of Commerce Real Estate Committee helps Queens County residents, business owners and investors in the region cope with those challenges, using effective current-market strategies
and information.
TECHNOLOGY
There is no more pressing issue today that cybersecurity, which is why the Technology Committee exists. Through education and streamlining protocols, Queens businesses are better able to protect themselves, their interests and their assets by way of the most up-to-date yet affordable technology for businesses of all types and sizes.
TRANSPORTATION
The Transportation Committee exists to educates Queens residents and businesses about issues, changes and new proposals for all methods of transportation in and out
of Queens and the Greater New York area.
