What makes the Princeton Mercer region a good place to do business?
There’s an incredibly diverse set of resources. You’ve got high-tech talent in the IT side of the world, you’ve got R&D, you’ve got lots of places where people can get assistance to launch as a small business. You’ve got access to highways and shipping and warehousing and all that. It’s also one of the highest-rated education areas in the country. So the level of intelligence, the level of academic performance is very high, which makes it competitive. If you’re looking for a job in this area, it’s not the easiest thing; but if you’re looking for talent, there’s a lot of people to consider.

What makes the Princeton Mercer region a good place to do business?
This is a great place to come. There are so many businesses and nonprofits within the community and I find that the people are lovely, so it just makes it easy to do business with people that you like.

What are the benefits of Chamber membership for you and your business?
I’ve been involved with the Chamber for about
12 years and have been a board member for
four years. My business is a small branding and marketing agency, and the ability to reach out and connect with all levels of professional people is crucial. Our Chamber is now the largest regional chamber in New Jersey. There are so many different operating groups — there’s the real estate group, the small business group, the women in business programs. There’s something there for everybody. Your target audience, the people that you want to interact with, get connections with, they are there. It’s a great centralized resource for people
to find each other. When we did the marketing line for the Chamber, “Champions for Business,” that’s really the demeanor you feel and get.
What are the benefits of Chamber membership for you and your business?
The leadership of the Princeton Mercer Chamber is wonderful. I got involved 10 years ago and it just gets better and better. I got involved in committees, I chair a committee and am on another committee. It’s just a great way to build relationships in the business community and also build friendships.
What are the benefits of Chamber membership for you and your business?
The Princeton Mercer Chamber has been a game-changer for us in terms of providing opportunity within the region. Their laser focus on business growth and high-quality networking is evident in the events and the resources they provide to their members. This environment has enabled our sales team to achieve its goals.
