The Tanger Outlets
at National Harbor (tangeroutlet.com/ nationalharbor) have
been a destination for discerning bargain hunters since 2013. Close to 100 designer brands can be found here, and for those looking to acquire fashion favorites from the pages
of magazines, this is the place to splurge for an updated wardrobe.
A mix of well-known brands and local vendors is available at the Mall
at Prince George’s (mallprincegeorges.com) in Hyattsville. The anchors are Target and Macy’s, but you’ll also find locally owned jewelers, barbers and restaurants. Best of all, the mall is easy to get to even if you don’t drive: it’s located right across the street from the Prince George’s Plaza station on Metro’s Green Line.
You’ll find a similar mix of local and national vendors at Beltway Plaza Mall (beltwayplazamall. com) in Greenbelt, as well as an AMC Theatre! As the mall’s name suggests, it’s easily accessible from the Capital Beltway/I-495.

Along Route 1 in Laurel
is Laurel Lakes Centre (mfirealty.com/property/ laurel-lakes-centre), which recently underwent a major upgrade and hosts favorite retail stores such as Michael’s, Best Buy and Ross Dress for Less.

767Boutique (767boutique. com), in Landover Hills, is your go-to stop for fabulous, feminine style — think striking patterns, flowing skirts and curve-hugging tube dresses. A’ La Mode Babe (alamodebabe.com) in Forestville is another great choice for trendsetters and includes a line of options that flatter full-figured women.
An amazing destination
for boutique shoppers is National Harbor. It’s home to ZAAF (zaafcollection.com), which sells beautiful clothing and accessories by African artisans and helps support economic development; A Beautiful Closet Boutique (abeautifulclosetdc.com) and its hand-picked, timeless clothes that strive to bring out your “wow” factor; and the very popular Alex and Ani (alexandani. com), known for its striking, colorful jewelry.
