The new CSX intermodal terminal will not only be more centrally located to Baltimore and
Washington, D.C., it will also greatly increase double-stack capacity along the entire East Coast
and into the Midwest. Along with service to more markets, better connectivity and greater
throughput capacity, the facility will provide transit that is 24 to 48 hours faster from coast
to coast. Most importantly, it will strengthen our nation’s ability to compete globally.
